May 7, 2012 was a songwriting day for one of my old bands, Gregory the Bug, with Sarah Ehrenholz and Björn Bückling (both of whom appear on this recording) in attendance. This song came out spontaneously and was initially nothing but a joke. A few days later I realized that it was exaclty what I wanted to say, and the chessyness of the lyrics were actually quite appropriate.
